Dry and funky. Zappy. Not very rich or thick. But tasty. Reminds me of Barbera.

Straight out the gate with pungent crushed peppercorn, and capers. Meaty as a medium rare steak with wiry acids to compliment. Kinda run-of-the-mill Syrah IMO. Will revisit in a decade.

Classic and delicious French syrah. Wonderful nose, bright dark fruits, savory/meaty component, and mild earthiness and funk. Really enjoyed this and at $20, a great introduction to the region.
