Sep 22nd, 2019Whoa. Very young. Intense structure. Wild, gamey, and floral on the nose while the palate shows closed fruit and impressive grip. Needs time. But it’s gonna be somethin’.

Mar 23rd, 2016I’d say this is on point. Years have been good this “still” fuller bodied red burg from old vines. The ripe red cherry definitely feels concentrated on the palate, especially on the tip of the tongue. The wine is still balanced with medium acidity, alcohol and medium plus tannins surprisingly. More about timing than anything else with this bottle, open soon. Cheers.
