Great bottle from a challenging year. Deep, complex and very much alive. Rich and developed, it had forest floor, ripe plum, dried fruit and pine bark that's been warmed up in the sun kind of notes. Tannins are gripping just the right amount, sitting well on the palate. Very enjoyable and quite a surprise.
