Probably had the most charming nose of the night. Similar to the Ruchottes Chambertin, it was candied, but this one had more minerality. The candied nose was paired with cool cherries and berries. Most thought this was a Chambolle Musigny and perhaps it was because the earthiness or iron/copper notes didn't reveal itself. Very smooth on the palate, which was surprising for a CdB. 2010 is one of the first few "new Faiveley" vintages and while the house style might have trumped over the terroir, I would buy this again in a heartbeat. Just a lovely bottle by Faiveley.
