With some air this wine gets pretty good. Blackberry and raspberry notes backed with some graphite. Pretty classic.

This is the first bottle of Chinon that made me pause and realize that 1) I really enjoy Chinon and 2) I need to pay more attention to Cabernet Francs in general. I had it at the Union Square Cafe, NY, and have been looking for this bottle ever since (to no avail). The Les Graves bottles that are out there are of a different year and thus taste different.
