Rasteau Grenache Blend

Had high hopes and gotta say other liked it more than I did. Slick and vivid, with violet and red fuit. Good intensity but lacks depth and dimension. Good bbq wine. Dissolved co2 is a little distracting.

For some reason I had low expectations for this but then it was legit. Med body and ripe flavors.

Smells like cured meat, smoke, cherries. Taste heavy on cherries leaning slightly towards NyQuil, but in a good way. Drank with braised duck thigh and carrots, brought out a more creamy texture.

Ça faisait longtemps qu'un vin ne m'avait pas fait ça. Ouch!

Well balanced, great food wine with balanced acidity and tannin.

Deep dark velvet. Rich and supple, smoky. A must have food wine.

Colour: ruby-violet
Nose: Rich and warm bag of red and – mostly – black fruit: black cherries, black currant, peppery note, garrigue spices.
Palate: Light and lively in tannins, not too strong... Good garrigue spices and raspberry. It exhibits a young style – quite astringent and brush, but still good level of acidity.

A very nice fullblown Southern Rhône villages, tasty stuff.

Beauty Rhone, unique, not your typical. Fruity and light ... Enjoyable juice indeed !
