Burnt coffee to start with, almost tar like that opened into aggressive sun-dried tomatoes, followed by sour cherries, strawberries and finishing off with vanilla notes. Amazing length and balance.

Nov 5th, 2014Opens up stubborn and gloomy. Aeration reveals smoke, graphite, leather, barnstable. In the mouth it's picking up freshness showing red and black fruit, cigarbox, earthy nuances, beefstock, sauteed mushrooms. Lively acidity, beautiful wine.
