Les Gruenchers Chambolle-Musigny 1er Cru Pinot Noir

Wow wine a stunning 1985 still fresh with cherry blossom , cranberry , orange , earthy , under brush, mushroom and game . Richness and depth of a grand cru . Flat out a stunner one of the best red burgs I have had in the last couple years .

This took an hour decanted to show its stuff. So worth the wait!!!!!!

Lovely. Fruit began to show through all the bright acidity after about 20 minutes.

Pure elegance in a bottle. Still beautiful acidity and floral notes that wrap themselves around your senses creating a memory that will last forever.

Stunning. Just like Audrey Hepburn. Elegant, full of finesse, beautiful yet fragile. Gorgeous aromas of sweet spice and crushed red fruit. Still vibrant acidity so no need so drink right away but why wait. Doubt it will get better than being almost perfect as of now.
