Domaine Dujac
Clos Saint-Denis Grand Cru Pinot Noir
This was super tight and austere, still so enjoyable but will need more time for sure. The stems were pretty dominant but while the fruit was being quite shy. A beautiful wine that is about its structure and aromatics more than its fruit.

May 29th, 20182008 vintage in magnum. Medium ruby turning slightly tawny on the rim. Red fruit profile - crushed strawberry and raspberry. Some floral notes. Oak present. Good depth. Gevry like concentration and power, with elegance and perfume of Chambolle. Perfect blend to create a lovely St Denis. Medium tannin - bit of grip. Great wine. NB: another affirmation that 2008 is a burgundy lovers vintage - just don't tell anyone else!
