Aux Malconsorts Vosne-Romanée 1er Cru Pinot Noir

Stemmy, twiggy and very Du-Jacque(s). The quality of the super pure cranberry-like fruit running through this was exceptional. Tasty stuff from an all time favourite site - 2011

Not a bad night.

Of course a long way to go but I was surprised on how nice developed it was already

Minerality, graphite, supple, a very complete wine. Fire.

Decades of possibility. Fruit forward

Young for sure but delish with salt and pepper chicken wings

Needs more time which is usual for this wine showing black cherry, berry, beautiful Vosne spice, meat, crushed rock & floral notes

Dark cherry, berry fruit, youthful, vosne spice, crushed rock & violet.

Something’s not quite right with this bottle. Muted nose even after a couple of hours in the decanter.
