Interestingly, this was the best-conditioned white of the night. Of course it had to be one I’m not particularly fond of, but I’m still very thankful that there wasn’t even a hint of discernible [premature] oxidation. The nose hits you with a melange of fruits ranging from pineapples to mangoes to peaches and candied orange peels, followed by notes of cream, honey, and some woody, floral nuances. On the palate, it was expectedly rich and rounded, yet still maintained some juicy energy. Finished lightly bitter with a herbaceous touch. An archetypal CDP blanc! Would be better with the right food.

Another delicious Rhone white. See previous Delectable notes. Aromatics of pear and lychee which transfer to the rich, unctuous palate. A grapefruit cleansing bitterness at the finish together with a slight saline touch. Easy to drink and enjoy.

Vintage 2018 | peony, candy, pepper, laurel in smell. Very complete wine with awesome balance, a bit sultry.

Notes from December 2022 still apply. Pale to mid lemon in colour. Aromas of apple pie this time around. A medium to full bodied white - a note of rockmelon (cantaloupe) a good white for winter - Medium minus acid with good length. Drinking at its peak.

See previous Delectable notes. Unctuous, full bodied, aromas of ripe grapefruit. Viscous on the palate with mandarin flesh on the M+ palate with M- acid. I note my previous notes mentioned stone fruit like apricot and nectarine but not so much this time. No other word for this wine other than delicious. I love Rhone whites.

Golden hue. Ripe orchard, stone, and tropical fruit. Warm baking spices. Minerality. Unctuous broad mouthfeel. Honeycomb, herbs, and orchard blossom. Medium acidity. Opened too early….

Love these Mediterranean whites. Unctuous and delicious. Medium to full bodied with low soft acid. Notes of apricot, nectarine and pineapple juice. I have 3 left which I should drink in the next 12 to 18 months.

Saturated ruby. Deep-pitched red/blue fruit liqueur aromas pick up suggestions of licorice, pipe tobacco and pungent flowers and herbs with air. In a lush, weighty style, offering expansive black raspberry, cherry cola, singed plum and fruitcake flavors sharpened by a jolt of spiciness on the back half. For all this wine's richness, it's energetic as well, showing solid, spice- and floral-driven persistence on the finish, which is framed by velvety, even tannins.
