Brief notes. Mellow and very balanced in this medium bodied palate - no point in further cellaring. In fact, so balanced that nothing stands out but it is highly savoury and richly textured. I think I preferred this wine when it was younger and vibrant. I see Jancis’s drinking window was 2019 to 2026. I had my last bottle 16 weeks later on 16th June 2026. It was in very good form - excellent.

[Kermit Lynch Import Version] This seems very youthful still, dried redfruits, rich and showing power and weight, long finish, very fine 35-year-old CdP that seems to be still on the ascent, excellent!

[French Version, Hand-Imported] This is less structured than the 1989 KLWM version, closer to the 1988 and seems like it’s just past its peak, but still lovely.
