Outrageous nose on this white cornas. Lemon gelato, light framing oak, insane granite minerality, so floral and fragrant. Broad, caressing and complex. Just piercing minerality. Palate is ripe, rich with lots of gras but so fresh and nimble while also expressing a wonderful fruit intensity (pineapple, guava, mango) and a controlled richness The minerality really brings out the freshness here. Long, pure and stunning. St. Peray is a great appellation currently.

Dec 3rd, 2021Ahh what a nose. Lime and tropical go so well together like ebony and ivory. Gorgeous ripeness but also insanely deep and fresh minerality. Tree bark. Citrus rind. Spice. So complex like only the St. Peray master can do. Palate is pitch perfect. Ripe, energetic, linear with the appropriate amount of gras and offsetting tension. So concentrated yet lithe and playful. Never heavy but has a skoche of a heaviness aspect. Just divine.

Aug 7th, 2020Super clean wine. Another masterful St. Peray from Tunnel. Ripe yellow fruits, floral, mineral nose. Palate is ripe and complex with an opulent midpalate with stunning purity and roundness with terrific freshness from the minerality. Long and juicy with an amazingly complex finish. So impressive.

Nose is tropical flowers. Gorgeous.
Palate is a bit recalcitrant at this point. Balanced and elegant. Perfect hint of honey. Very mineral. Great acidity. Mouthfeel gives you density but not the flavor as much.
I’d give this a couple of years for optimal drinking. It’s very good now but will be better.
