Clear, pale ruby in color; on the nose, it's clean with medium intensity primary and secondary aromas of blackberries, strawberry jam, and baking spices; on the palate, it's dry with medium acidity, medium tannins, medium body, high alcohol, and pronounced primary and secondary flavors of maraschino cherries, raspberries, and clay pots with a long finish. This wine is well balanced and intense. Overall, I rate this wine as very good. Nellie didn't like it.
