A lot riper and jammier than the ‘22 iteration. Too much so in my view. Nose has lots of deep, oozing dark berry fruit. A little warm caramel and a spirity note. Jammy and a bit hot in the mouth. Low acids and a shortish finish.

Oct 27th, 2026Just what you want in a balanced weeknight red. Pretty and fruity nose shows bright dark red berries, spice, and subtle crushed stone. Fairly full in the mouth, with darker fruit than the nose shows, and some savory garrigue notes. Acids are low but not too low, and there’s a bit of tannin for structure. Only 14.5% (which is one reason I tried it). Nice with beef chow fun take-out!
