Notes of vermouth in the nose and bitterness in the mouth ... almost feel like a flaw but winemaker will say it is biodynamic

I wanted to like this, as it had a lot going for it: organic, female-owned, imported by Kermit Lynch. But my bottle was funky. Maybe it was already shot (2015 vintage in 2019).

Red fruits, tobacco, cedar, black pepper, light minerality. Medium body, pleasant dry finish.
