Just a slight touch of bret. Wonderful acid, and game meat aromas. Nice Cornas for the $

Excellent, but considerably better on its third day.

Another wine that if blind tasted, I would not have picked old world. Very fruit driven

2007. Grande finesse. beaucoup de gaz. 3h de carafe.

Fresh black fruit, peppercorn, topsoil, leather, some tea leaves later. Mmmmmhmm.

Very big and interesting on the nose, sometimes fruity, sometimes bloody and meaty. Elegant in the mouth with some initial dark fruit until the savoury elements take over for a long finish.

Very nice, a bit light but a fare amount of complexity and balance

Super silky Syrah.

Lots of great stuff going on with this one. Black fruit, purple flowers, white and black pepper, saddle leather, blueberry pancake syrup, and mushrooms. Great mineralogy throughout. 60 second finish. Excellent.
