Wow. Cedar, leather, tobacco. Lingering acidity and fine tannins.

Solid. Great nose filled with perfume and minerals. Rather weak on the palate with a shortish finish. Not worth what we paid as it was fairly average. Best part was the lovely sweetheart in the background!

Nice wine. Pretty tannic at first, but it settled down. Full-bodied with hints of cranberries, tea, and cinnamon.

Purchased 2004 on site autumn 2013. To Hedgesville WVa on 31 Mar 2018. Cinnamon and nutmeg bouquet. Front of tongue sweet. High acid. Lingering finish and mouthfeel very good. More like Syrah than the more northern Cotes de Beaune.
