Double decant and pour. An arresting medium dark ruby red color. On the nose: cherry, musky, spice, vanilla, and a little raspberry. Taste: dark cherry, savory with earth and a slight bit of mint, and spice box.

Medium body with fresh acidity and nicely composed tannins for this Oregon wine. Finishes with a raspberry tea medium long finish.
