Super simple with no complexity at first but builds with air. Light to medium bodies with herbal and raspberry flavor. It has acid. It's more like a colorful rose with notes of menthol and raspberry. Continues to build but it still reminds me of the old days circa 1995 when burgundy was a terrible value compared to California Pinot. These days it is easier to find a good $25 burgundy (Roty Marsannay) than a good $40 Pinot from CA. This wine is an exception. Probably costs $45 and there is not enough there. It's clean though
