Domaine des Romarins
Côtes du Rhône Grenache Blend
This was an easy drinking little gem that we enjoyed over a few hours. Dark red and looking luscious, it’s aromas came streaming out in a harmonious orchestra of manly musks: smoky leather, dark cherry, and soft floral arrangements. Handsome. Drinking offers other pleasures like earthy minerality and spiced plum pie.

Nov 26th, 2021Intense dark chocolate and dried fruit. Heavy spices, but nothing hot. Musty. Makes me want a cigar.

Dark, rustic powerful rhone with lots of pepper spice and dense plum fruit. A good example for a masculine rhone wine at a good price.

May 12th, 20152011 - Rich chocolate ganache, sticky blackberry fruit and sweet liquorice on the nose, more of the same in the mouth, not too bad for the rent

Mar 23rd, 20152021 vintage. Apparently the first time distributed in the US (could be nonsense but haven't seen it around so...). Rich frontal palate with unexpected follow-thru focus on mid and closing times. Some spice afoot. Small production. Definitely fits the bill for a CDR rouge. 8.28.24.
