A little weird on the first breathe in — somewhat meaty smell with tints of grass and apple. The taste is pretty smooth and almost chardonnay-like, given the geography of the bottle. Rather pleasant aftertaste with berry flavours and more of a lemon hint to it. Overall it's a pretty good wine, lacking some crisp though.
