Why vinify Chiroubles and try to 50/50 it between natty dank and something honest? A big, disappointing hit of funk and VA finally dissipates- revealing a zippy, cranberry-scented Cru of real class- but I guess somebody somewhere thinks you have to f-up these wines to make a mark.
