Very nice versatile wine. Good with mushroom Bolognese and butternut squash with quinoa.

Very feminine. More Four Seasons suite than a bikram yoga class.

Drink a little cooler than room temp.
Beauty on the nose. Dream on the palette.

If I didn’t know better I would think I’m drinking a Pinot Noir, but the deep ruby red color says, not this wine. The nose is violets and earth with cherry in the mix, a hint of dried herbs too. Medium acidity and soft tannins. This has a hit of alcohol and a medium - finish. It’s easy to drink. Glad I tried...but as the bottle quickly empties...am I?

Cru Beaujolais from Morgon. Dark fruit, earthy notes, medium body, juicy acidity.

Acceptable Beaujolais, but has some strong off flavors. Expensive for its quality. There are much better Morgons out there.
