Solidly built but closed right now. Needs time. The Fleurie is way more approachable, from the same vintage.

Very feminine. More Four Seasons suite than a bikram yoga class.

If I didn’t know better I would think I’m drinking a Pinot Noir, but the deep ruby red color says, not this wine. The nose is violets and earth with cherry in the mix, a hint of dried herbs too. Medium acidity and soft tannins. This has a hit of alcohol and a medium - finish. It’s easy to drink. Glad I tried...but as the bottle quickly empties...am I?
