Apr 3rd, 2016A winery I've been following for quite some time now but whose wines I haven't tasted for a couple of years. Biodynamic Loire wines from around Cheverny. Some PN, Chard, SB and the king of the region, Romorantin, a Burgundian grape variety not to be found there anymore.
This is their simple "Romo"rantin.
Light glue, almonds, apricot followed by wild grown apples. A minerality that is incredible with finesse. A superb aperitif. Or pair with oysters.
