Woolen, honeyed, pomaceous, herbal, pithy, floral. There’s a lovely smoky flintiness that intensifies with time. Very classic aromatically
with unmistakable limestone/clay terroir, bruised apple, chamomile and lemon pith resonating on the finish. I’m revising my notes because this impressed me more after three days (under basic closure, no argon,
48 F). I still could use a bit more acidity to lift the mid palate, but the ML is not as heavy as I originally thought.
