Big red fruit when first opened. Acid on finish. Then turned in to tart blue fruit after being in the glass awhile.

surprisingly backward and tannic from a cold cellar, it warmed and opened, becoming a nice Volnay, though not a great wine. Fun to drink, though.

Would have guessed it was ten yrs younger blind. Good concentration of red fruit.
