Oozes class and finesse, with minerality up the gazu, and huge depth and promise. Aromas are those associated with truly great white burgs: mineral chalk, ripe lemon, slight floral and peach aromas, savoury undertones, chestnut and hazelnut, honey suckle, while a richness of fruit that exemplifies a truly complex beast. Gorgeous attack, subtle but powerful, silk and satin, and huge finish that goes on forever. Do I love it? How could you not. Can't wait to try this in 10 years time. NB: with 2 hours of air, the apricot, honeyed character is amplified, with a nutty overtone.
