Crushed berry and tea. Pure fruit and clean.

Elegant and refined, this stunning red instantly begins to captivate with is gorgeous aromatics of wild raspberries and cherries, which are laced with fresh florals and smoky nuances that all come together beautifully. It goes on to further impress with its remarkable freshness and purity, as well as striking overall balance, as it seamlessly glides across the palate and gracefully comes to an end with a beautiful silky finish. Readers looking for a high-quality Burgundy to consume early should highly consider this brilliant Monthélie from Dominique Lafon, as it is utterly striking today, but should also drink exceptionally well over the course of the next decade.

After barrel tasting all of the 2020 Meursault cuvées, we went to Lynch at Ma Cuisine in Beaune and enjoyed this rouge with lunch.
