2017 vintage. Good typicity. Crunchy red fruit with a grippy tannic edge, but overall lighter bodied and fragrant. Cranberry, pomegranate, lingonberry, black tea, hibiscus, apple skin, purple and red flowers, thyme.

Okay nose. Anonymous. Juicy and boring. A bit dirty. Okay. Not offensive. Good texture. But seems boring and one dimensional. Probably the fact it has to do with that St. Amour sucks.

Really ripe black cherry nose. On the palate the same black cherry fruit character is present but restrained and elegantly plays with balanced flavors of black pepper, rosemary, grass, wet soil and dried leaves. Lean in weight, silky in tannins with a little grip and solid acidity. A beautifully balanced wine that's very pleasant to drink. 3.5

Really liked the elegance and purity, sift and light red fruits, very fine and filigree like structure.

Earthy ginger, some formic/pepper green pyrazines on the nose; palate is incisive and if 2-3 yrs age takes off the acerbic edge it'll be a supple charmer of great depth and character

There’s a delicate purity to the fruit profile here. A one trick pony, but it does the one trick well.

Wow! Big heavy full body for a beaujolais. Excellent showing right now but no rush. Probably last 5 to 8 years longer easily. Big lush dark fruit with mushroom, and leather. Very good and shows great promise for the 2018 vintage!
