Domaine de Trévallon
Vin de Pays des Bouches-du-Rhône White Rhone Blend

Lighter, lean, angular, mineral. Missing some of the density and was a bit muted. Maybe a touch of volatility hiding in sulfur. Enjoyable nonetheless. Maybe this is just young and tight, but as I drink more 2016’s it seems as though it was a tough year for many top domaines.

Jul 11th, 2019I hand carried this bottle back from Provence. White Trevallon is much more rare in the states. 15 years+++ aging potential. Our wine fridge broke so I put this in our regular refrigerator. After a long day at work I came home and realized my wife opened this as a regular pop and pour. 🥶🥶😨😨😢😢😭😭.
It’s really effing good.
