Much more backward and structured than the 2005, abarely perceptible green bean, maybe asparagus, note detracts a little, but this one seems close to mature and way more youthful than the 2005, very good CdP to revisit in 3-5 years.

Typical Grenache nose, herbs, and a dark fruit profile. Palate is nice, tannins are round and silky, good weight and a certain richness. Aged well. 89-90

Lots of blackberries and black currants. On the palate, dark fruits with licorice and tobacco leaf notes.

Last bottle, of 6. Blew through the others. This juice is turned from pure fruit & oak 2 yrs ago to great tertiary notes. Wish I had more.

Still tannic, but coming along nicely. Won't be stellar, but very drinkable.
