Domaine de Saint-Antoine
Vin de Pays du Gard Syrah
Tangy cherries and chewy stone fruit hit you right up front. Feels almost oily, like a white Rhone might. Definitely don't serve too chilled, the nose doesn't wake up until it warms up a bit. Very disappointing finish; it completely disappears from the palate.

Sep 22nd, 2015Nothing special. Flavors kept changing over time with overall acidic notes. Could probably let it sit for another 5 years.

Sep 8th, 2015Brandies cherry, chili pepper, cucumber, basil, granite on the nose. Goes well with summer fruit platters, tart fruit desserts. Medium intensity.
