Les Pensées de Pallus Chinon Cabernet Franc

What is not to like about an aromatically fresh France with great fruit and lively acid. Nice drink - bring me a flagon & some music!

Black raspberry jam, wild flowers, currants, pipe tobacco, cedar wood, smoke, medicinal herbs, wet clay, graphite. Great depth and elegance. So perfumed and heady. Truly a wine the demands your attention one the nose. Palate has great concentration and the burst of acid you expect from a Loire red. Totally out performs the price.

Grippy aromatics followed by grippy earthy notes. Quick finish but when paired with St Nick Teire (the Cheese Nuns cheese!) it brings the fruits out.

Frah and light, peppers and graphite, raspberries. Yes.

Aggressive aromatics. Earthy with grit. Medium weight.

Lovely floral fruit and herb. Bright, lean and tight with verve of tannin and acid. Opens with air and better with a few more years in the cellar

I think this is one of the Vin de l'annes of Pallus in Cravant , nice pure and clean.

Very nice, not over the top can franc from chinon.

Jeg har fået den før og ku bedre li 11’eren. Denne årgang er let skinger i syren. Men stadig en læskende Cab Franc, med noter af rabarber, kirsebær, peber, urter.

New oak on the nose and bright acidity and raspberry fruit on the palette.
