Bandol Mourvedre Blend

Pretty approachable even at only 5 years. Medium intensity nose sports classic tree bark, baked earth, dark berries, and a teensy bit of spice. Rich and deep-toned in the mouth. A whack of iodine before the fruit hits. Tannins present but ripe and in the process of integrating. Nice balance despite the stated 15%

Really nice balance of ripe fruit, acids, and Mourvèdre tannins. The tree bark thing is under control, which can, in my judgment, get a bit overwhelming in some Bandol.

Classic Bandol rose’ with a full mouthfeel. Mouthwatering. I agree with @Geoff Troup, poor man’s Tempier. Killer value.

Gorgeous. Dusty, crushed rock, wet sidewalk, full body, low acidity, prevalent mint in the finish, tannic and forest floor. Beautiful and could go longer. A poor man's Tempier.

Lot of that iodine. Mellow tannins. Some cherrry, black fruit. Tannins linger on the finish, but subtlety. Very nice wine from my brother- thanks!

Deep and leathery on the nose, earthy.
Dark fruits.

Stronger than the last, a bit like Margaux

Garnet in color. Masculine. Gripping, with dark cherry, charcoal, and touch of violet, maybe.
