Pretty approachable even at only 5 years. Medium intensity nose sports classic tree bark, baked earth, dark berries, and a teensy bit of spice. Rich and deep-toned in the mouth. A whack of iodine before the fruit hits. Tannins present but ripe and in the process of integrating. Nice balance despite the stated 15%

Jun 17th, 2023Really nice balance of ripe fruit, acids, and Mourvèdre tannins. The tree bark thing is under control, which can, in my judgment, get a bit overwhelming in some Bandol.

Jun 29th, 2019Gorgeous. Dusty, crushed rock, wet sidewalk, full body, low acidity, prevalent mint in the finish, tannic and forest floor. Beautiful and could go longer. A poor man's Tempier.
