Domaine de L'Idylle
Vin de Savoie Arbin Mondeuse Noir
Crazy good - “glacial ice water” with lemon peel and wet stones pretty much sums this up. Try Savoie whites. Brilliant.

It’s light bodied to a fault but not elegant - tasted watered down and lacking in tannins & acidity - just couldn’t find anything redeeming. These are wines people say “put a chill on it and drink it like a Rose’” - I guess you could but not for $17

Feb 17th, 2018Always love this in every vintage. A perfect ringer for your Northern Rhone/Syrah tasting. Plenty of savory notes with impressive tannic structure. Like smelling and tasting freshly ripe blackberries. Love it.
