Arbin Vin De Savoie Mondeuse Noir

A lovely nose of lilacs growing on a riverbank, just about to bloom.

Tangy cherry, cranberry, white pepper, dark plum river stone. Light tannins wrap up the profile of this wine, as do the feathery tannins.

Bright, fresh fruit with a long earthy finish and green tannins.

Lovely fall afternoon sipper

Pale ruby. Aromas of crushed peppers, mineral, a hint of herbal tones. Seems like a cross between Pinot Noir and Syrah.

My second Mondeuse Noir and having the Lagier Meredith as my first, this is a completely different style. This is much lighter style similar to a Beaujolais. Still good but just different. I enjoy tasting the different styles of the same grape. So this is a perfect example of that.

Plum, granite, raspberry, and oleander on the nose. Tastes of rose petals, peppercorn, and blackberry jam.

Some fun here---Developed red berries w/muted black pepper towards the finish.

Solid hooch.

Light to medium body with great tartness and acidity. Mellow on the finish. Notes of cranberry, wet earth, and stone fruit.
