Vintage 2015 | brown rim, cedar, laurel, flint. It was three years ago I tasted this terra vitis Languedoc wine and I took all my bottles from the cellar upstairs. Good premonition, the wine is à point. Good taste, easy now without tannins, a bit sultry. Perhaps the wine was more interesting when young, because it had more tension. Lovely though. Paired with spaghetti tunafish. | second day +0,2 air makes it more rounded and completes the sultryness

Vintage 2015 | 100% Merlot | new wood | after 36 h aeration: beautiful smell with black summerfruit, coffee and cacao. Well balanced taste with a firm attaque of tannins in first mouthfeel. Very good effort. Paired with cheeses.

Vintage 2015 - This cuvee Synthese is from 100% merlot that got new wood ripening. And then Côtes de Thongue can become an enchanting wine: cedar, laurel, leather, black berries. Very rich and frivolous, in taste vanilla and good balance. We tasted blind, easily to be mistaken for Saint Emilion or Pomerol. Terrific effort of the winemakers!
