vintage 2010 | the second time in a month that aged Roussillon surprises me. What a fine wine! Grenache, Syrah and Mourvedre. With vines planted between 1900 and 1919. Has lost all its rough tannin edges that are replaced by velvety taste. Still beautiful fruit expressions, eg blackberries. Brushwood. Hint of licorice. Earthyness. I was not aware that I put this in my cellar, but @delectable has two earlier tastingnotes. Now the wine is really magic, best bottle. Paired with venison steak and bimi, cantonese style.
