Bright reddish tawny color, translucent. Fruit forward nose. Has a sweetness to it. Notes of dark fruit, spice, dark earth. Not overly fruity in the mouth - a bit dry even. I guess 88 Faiveley Griotte or similar Chambertin. Got the 88 right. With air over the evening, this developed more DRC like notes including roses and salt, Asian spice, etc.

Never thought I'd see one of these. Highly expressive nose. Seamlessly interwoven red and black fruits. Some secondary character. So much intensity and interest but with such effortlessness. What a treat. 98 for sure. Did I mention it's a 6L?

Tannic still a bit hard, I think it can store another 10-15 years easily, very subtle, not so much in the aromatic side, consider the wine have been opened and decanted for 4 hours, still very tight

Light garnet color. Sour cherries, sous bois and spice on the mesmerizing nose. Glides on the palate, with the spice and candy lasting forever in the mouth. Delicious.

Garnet color with a slight brown rim. Stems, roses, red fruit, ginger and spice on the evolving nose. Delicate body with the same notes on the palate, ending with spice on the extremely long finish. Delicious.

Garnet color. Intense nose of red fruits, spice, sous-bois and earth. The nose is just haunting. Palate is all about finesse, with all the elements fitting together beautifully. Soft red fruits backed by a great acidity and tension and an incredibly long finish. What a treat.

What a treat. Popped and pored a bit musty to start but was fabulous in an hour or so
