Tasted blind. Brownish red color. Translucent and clear. Memorable nose with notes of roses, dried cherries, cola and spice. Lots going on in the mouth. Minerals. Some lingering but fading sweet fruit, matched against a still strong structure with very present acidity. The fruit built with more air. After 7+ hours of being open this was still alive and complex at the end.

Tasted blind. Amber and translucent. Bright cherry nose with brown spice, cola, and soil notes. Rich in the mouth but not overly so. Fruit forward with decent structure. At or probably slightly past its peak, but really delivered a great old red burg experience.

Re-corked in 1991, not sure if it was topped off with a different wine. Loads of baking spice and coco in the finish, slightly oxidized fruit but still lengthy acidity.

1964 vintage. Very pale garnet. Wonderful nose. Violet, flowers, cherry and deep. Great concentration and acidity. Good length. Real power here. Love it! Classy wine for all ages
