70’s not far behind 71...not as focused but lineage is there.

Wow! Umami, mushrooms, cheesy, cherries, so many layers and dimensions to this wine. Still age worthy

Yes....it's a birth year night! I said it's showing its age and was told so are you.

a bit tired; difficult vintage - but remnants of grace prevailed, if only for an afternoon

Another beautiful drinking DRC at the kingdom.

Another great btl of 70 DRC at Berns. This time it is Echezeaux. Cherry, orange peel, a little iron & rust, some mushroom, soy & Asian spices.
