Delicious medium bodied red, lots of flavor. Had it with Santillo’s pizza and greek salad.

Black tea. Stewed plums. Sichuan peppercorn. Quite ripe and harmonious from start to finish. A very decent Cab Franc. (Paired it with General Tso’s chicken kabobs.)

Domaine de la Rentiere, La Rèniere 2018
Dark & ripe with an enticing nose full of violets, crushed rock, pencil shavings, black currant leaf, some cassis... and underneath this a blend of crushed black currants, roast and only at the end, the famous green bell peppers / a whiff of tobacco leaf.
Layered & quite complex on the palate with rich juicy, fleshy tannins and generous ripe fruit. Nicely balanced and with good depth.
A lovely wine from a nice, warm & ripe vintage.
