This tastes a lot like budget "champagnes" minus the bubbles. I get that raw bite of unripe green apple and sourdough familiar from Korbel. Not my favorite, but this has massive wet limestone mineral that makes it much more enticing, and a creaminess in the mouth and on the finish that I have yet to find in an affordable champagne. This is unique among the French whites I've tried so far, and definitely has me wanting to try more like it.
