So earthy and chewy it's like it's been sieved through mud. Just how a good Cab Franc should be. A little 'tough' mid-palate but good power on the finish. Decent value for a red 2011 Loire at £9 a bottle.

Yummy hay/mud aroma in the glass, tastes like a dry pinot noir at first. Opens up to a barely ripe cherry over time. Served by the lovely Dean.
