There is enough depth, concentration, and balance here to justify $23. The 14.5% abv is dangerously well integrated. Delicious, with subtle acid and a pleasing mineral edge. Great example of a well-made Cotes-du-Rhone. 50% grenache, 30% syrah, 20% carignane.

Deep and very powerful and concentrated for a CDR. Dark berries, chocolate, cloves. Seems a little acetoney. Quite a full, grippy style, with heat and body. Black fruited, raisin, chocolate. Quite extracted.

Nice bottle, has a bit of afterburner on it but hey for $9 for a half bottle it's pretty darn nice.

Decent little CDR. Mellowed out on day 2 but still w some burn. Getting raisins and some earthy clay.
