Red cherry lipsmackers, allspice and loads of granite. I'd even venture to say a gravel driveway. Grippy mineral palate, dirty beets and cranberry skin. Worked great as a versatile food pairing w pork chop, mediterranean style mussels and poached pear/blue cheese salad.

A front loaded cherry, raspberry and pomegranate pallet provides interest to minor flavors of minerals and Herbs de Provence which linger quite nicely. Minor tannins, but not a problem as the fruit brings this one home. Worked surprisingly well with Lasagna. Definitely one to try.
