Fairly extracted but still light on its feet. Grainy tannins and strong minerality frame the fruit and spice flavors quite well. This is a steal and certainly will rival many cru Beaujolais.

Earth dominates the fruit on opening. Ripening cranberry. Crushed raspberry. Wet soil, tobacco, fresh leather. Big matchstick. Dry on the palate - small but sticky tannin. Did wonderful with whole roasted tomatoes & halloumi basil chicken.

Must've been in bottle long time. Cork was in horrible shape. Thought it'd soured. But it really wasn't bad. Not sure it's worth $17.
