The 2020 Brouilly Vieilles Vignes did not seem quite correct on the nose to me. It's a bit smudged and missing the clarity of all the other cuvées that I noticed at the Domaine. The palate is likewise a little sweet on the entry and just feels a bit labored. I prefer the '21 - this might have been picked a bit too late. (Neal Martin, Vinous, May 2023)

Ruby red; red berries, mineral, and bit gamy on the open nose; palate a little chewy with bright raspberry and cherry fruit supported with spicy accents. This is much more energetic than rich.
