Day One: Very plump /Very ripe …easy drinking Maconaise pinot noir. It serves its purpose. Day Two: Twenty-four hours of aeration have pushed a 7.9 to an 8.0. Well done!

The wines—both red and white—from the Mâconnais simply keep getting better and better. Here’s a terrific example that should deliver a whole heap of pleasure to even those too afraid to explore the deep southern regions of Burgundy. A huge high five to Damien Martin and his crew.

Reasonable and very inexpensive. It’s a little chalky/dried out. Cherry and black tea-notes but not much more. The Gamay like flavors are gone (see previous notes). Not a profound wine but for the money this does well!

Very Gamay like. Light bright and an easy drink. Quite tannic. Tart 🍒. A really nice Bourgogne but definitely a drink now wine I would not give it more then 1 - 2 years.

A young wine, fresh and earthy with notes of red fruit, cherry, cranberry and violet. Very light, good to drink on its own or with light cheese and vegetable skewers.
